Q What equipment will be needed for participation in this course?

A basic set of pots, pans, standard bakeware, mixing and serving bowls, utensils, a comfortable knife, steamer basket, and standard blender.

There are many opportunities for interaction, engagement, and support throughout their course. Our online support team is available 7-days per week for technical and general support. This culinary foundations course was created to develop and reinforce the fundamental culinary skills of your kitchen staff. By focusing on universally taught and adopted culinary technique, this training gives your team members the foundation necessary to excel in your kitchen and their career.

Your team members will be able to access their course on any device that is connected to the internet.
Q How many hours per week should I plan on dedicating to the course?

The course material covers approximately 30 hours of learning, which includes video and various other learning activities, practical cooking exercises and graded quizzes. Your team member can do this at your own pace, but it takes regular work and discipline to complete the course.
Q What type of certification is earned?

Upon the successful completion of this course, your team member can download a Certificate of Completion. All Rouxbe Professional Courses are recognized also by the ACFEF (American Culinary Federation Education Foundation) as a Quality Program and recognized by World Association Chefs Societies as Approved Quality Culinary Training.
Q What is the passing grade?

A passing grade is 75%, something we are confident can be accomplished, as we will set your team members up for success in this course. Leave it to us to get them inspired and cooking. We support them the whole way through!
Q Do I have access to the course content after the 6 months are over?

Your team members maintain lifetime access to all of their course content unless you contact us to remove their account after they are longer part of your organization.
